1. Principles of personal data processing

Trade Register No.: J29/330/2015, operator of the online store www.ihunt.ro, declares that all personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") are considered strictly confidential and are processed in accordance with the laws in force regarding the protection of personal data.
SC iHunt Technology Import-Export S.A. has taken note of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation") and in particular of the obligations incumbent on any personal data Controller.
The security of your personal data is a priority for us. Therefore, we pay the utmost attention to personal data and their protection. Within these Principles of personal data processing ("Principles"), we would like to inform you about what personal data we collect about you and how we use them further.
- Definitions
According to the Regulation, the parties agree to the following definitions:
- "Personal data": means any information (any string of characters, signs, digits, or letters) relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the "data subject"). An "identifiable natural person" is considered to be a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person;
- "Controller": refers to SC iHunt Technology Import Export S.A., which determines the purposes and means of personal data processing;
- "Processing of personal data": means any operation or set of operations which is performed or not by the Controller using automated means and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction thereof.
2. Personal data and their processing
2.1. Categories of personal data
In case you purchase from us, we collect:
- Name and contact details. First name and last name, email address, postal address, billing address, phone number, and billing bank details;
- Data that appear during the existence of the contract – purchased products;
- Personal Numeric Code if you want a financing solution.
If you are a member with an account, we collect:
- Name and contact details. First name and last name, email address, postal address, billing address, phone number, billing bank details;
- Authentication data. Username and password. We do not have access to the password itself.
If you subscribe to our marketing messages, we collect:
- Name and contact details - email address and first name.
In addition, we process the following personal data:
- Details from messages between iHunt and the client.
2.2. Purpose of processing personal data:

Provision and improvement of services. In order to provide and improve the services offered to your satisfaction, we process your personal data. Specifically, these include:
- Processing product or service orders, ordered either through our website www.ihunt.ro, by phone for customers, or through the iHunt page on social networking sites (Facebook, Instagram). Here, the legal basis is that the data is essential for the execution of the purchase contract, and some information is essential for fulfilling legal obligations (such as accounting documents).
- Notification of product availability. If you request monitoring the availability of an item, we process your personal data based on your consent.
- Customer support service. To provide customer services and resolve any issues in the execution of the sales contract, we process personal data based on the need to fulfill these contracts.
- Communication. We use the collected data for the purpose of communicating with you in a personalized manner. For example, we may contact you by phone, email, or other means to remind you that you have products in your online shopping cart, to help you complete your order, to inform you of the current status of your request, order, or complaint, to obtain additional information if necessary, or to notify you that you need to take action to keep your account active.
- Protection, security, and dispute resolution. We may process data from a legitimate interest, which consists of ensuring the protection and security of our systems and customers, preventing and detecting fraud, resolving disputes, and implementing our agreements, based on legitimate interest.

Marketing offers Newsletter
- The informational letter sent by email (commercial communications)
- We send commercial communications regarding our current offers and discounts. You always have the option to refuse these commercial communications using the unsubscribe link in each email. You can also unsubscribe directly from our customer service or by email at info@ihunt.ro.
- If you unsubscribe from commercial messages, we will no longer use your electronic contact details for these purposes. We will resume their use only if you subscribe again or if you expressly request them.
- You have the right to object at any time and free of charge to such processing. Contact details are provided at the end of this document.

2.3. Transfer of personal data to third parties
Your personal information will only be transmitted to third parties or otherwise intermediated if necessary for the fulfillment of the sales contract based on a legitimate interest or if you have previously expressed your consent.
- a) credit card issuing companies, payment service providers for payment processing, and banks, based on your order, for the execution of the sales contract;
- b) transportation companies, for the delivery of products or services ordered by you and for handling complaints, including contract termination;
- c) third parties, such as prosecutors and courts, for recovery or termination of any contract with you;
- d) public authorities (e.g., the police).
3. Customer account and purchase without registration
- a) When you choose to create a customer account, which is protected with a password. In your customer account, you have access to your own data, including editing it, you can view data regarding completed and incomplete orders, and you can change newsletter subscriptions. Through the customer account, you can manage both personal data and newsletter subscriptions.
- b) If you do not want to create a customer account for purchases, you can buy directly, without registration, without being a member.
4. Security of personal data and duration of their storage
4.1. Security of personal data
- a) Your data is transmitted in encrypted form. We use the SSL (secure socket layer) encryption system. We secure our website and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss and destruction of your data, unauthorized access to it, modification, or dissemination;
- b) The Controller will process personal data lawfully, fairly, and transparently to the data subject;
- c) The Controller will collect personal data for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, subsequently not allowing processing incompatible with these purposes;
- d) The Controller will ensure that personal data are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;
- e) The Controller will keep data in a form that allows identification of data subjects for a period that does not exceed the period necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
- f) The Controller guarantees that personal data are processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, against accidental loss, destruction, or damage;
- g) The Controller undertakes to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure and be able to demonstrate that processing is carried out in accordance with the Regulation on the protection of personal data, actively reviewing and updating such measures;
- h) Technical and organizational measures must be designed to ensure that only personal data necessary for each specific purpose of processing are processed;
- i) The Controller undertakes to keep records of processing activities under its responsibility, to cooperate with the supervisory authority, and to make these records available to it upon request for monitoring purposes of the respective processing operations;
- j) The Controller ensures that authorized persons (subcontractors, transport service providers) processing personal data are committed to confidentiality or have an adequate statutory obligation of confidentiality;
- k) Where processing operations are likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects, the Controller shall be responsible for carrying out an assessment of the impact of the data protection.
- l) Access to your customer account is only possible after entering your personal password. In this context, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is absolutely necessary not to disclose your access data to third parties, and after ending your session in the customer account, always close the browser window, especially if you are using the computer jointly with other users. iHunt does not assume responsibility for abuses regarding passwords used, except in cases where the situation was directly caused by iHunt.
4.2. Processing time
We process and store personal data
- for a period absolutely necessary to ensure all rights and obligations arising from the sales contract, specifically for the duration of the order, the warranty period, and the average lifespan of the product;
- for the duration of the existence of the customer account on the website www.ihunt.ro;
- for the period during which iHunt, as the administrator, is required to retain information in accordance with general legal regulations. Accounting documents, such as invoices issued by iHunt, are archived in accordance with the law for a period of 10 years from their issuance;
- The agreement for the notification of product availability remains valid for the availability period of the information sent or until revocation;
- The agreement for marketing offers is valid until revoked.
In other cases, the processing time is determined by the purpose of the processing or is dictated by regulations regarding personal data protection.
5. Data subjects' rights
- a) If we process your personal data, you can request free information about the processing of your personal data.
- b) If you believe that the processing of personal data does not comply with the protection of your personal data and violates legal regulations on the protection of personal data, you can request explanations, request the elimination of the situation thus arisen, and, especially, request the correction, completion, deletion, or blocking of personal data.
- c) Also, you have the right at any time to address your request to the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing.
- d) Your consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked at any time you wish. If you withdraw your consent regarding the processing of personal data, they will be deleted; however, these measures do not affect personal data necessary for iHunt to fulfill its legal obligations (e.g., executing orders already placed) or to protect its legitimate interests. Personal data deletion occurs when they are no longer necessary for the intended purpose or if the storage of your data is impermissible for other reasons provided by law.
